Econometrica Editorial Board Changes
I am delighted to announce some changes to Econometrica's editorial board. Effective July 1, 2025, Marina Halac (Yale University) will shift from being Co-editor to become Editor. In addition I welcome Keisuke Hirano (Pennsylvania State University), Pete Klenow (Stanford University), Aureo de Paula (University College London) and Marciano Sinischalchi (Northwestern University) to the board; they will join as Co-Editors. Kei, Pete, Aureo and Marciano are distinguished scholars and experienced, fair, and effective editors. They broaden the range of expertise represented on the editorial board.
Kate Ho and Chad Jones will leave the board at the end of June 2025. I have depended on them for the past four years, am grateful for their contributions to the review process and have enjoyed working with them. My term also ended at the end of June. The opportunity to edit the journal has been a great honor. I am grateful for the enormous contributions by authors, referees, Co-Editors, Econometric Society staff, and the production staff. The publishing process in economics and in academics in general is a complicated process, but I have been impressed by the integrity of all those involved. I want to particularly thank Mary Beth who has made editing the journal a pleasure.
