Theoretical Economics Editorial Board Changes

Todd Sarver will leave the board end of June 2025, at the end of his term. Todd has served as an outstanding Co-editor of TE since July 2021, and the journal has greatly benefited from his insight and energy.

Pierre-Olivier Weill will also leave the board end of June 2025. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him on editorial matters, and thank him for his dedication and thoughtful editorial decisions.

I am delighted that Mira Frick and Pablo Kurlat have agreed to serve as a Co-editors of Theoretical Economics beginning July 1, 2025. Their outstanding contributions in their respective fields and their past service to the profession make them ideal additions to the Editorial Board.

This summer also marks the end of my tenure at Theoretical Economics, after four years as Co-editor and four years as Editor. The journal has come a long way since its first issue in 2006, establishing itself as one of the leading journals in the profession. Over the last four years, I have tried to maintain the highest editorial standards while encouraging shorter papers, reasonable requests for revisions, and efficient turnaround time.

Federico Echenique will take over as Editor on July 1st. His clear-eyed judgment, extensive editorial experience, and thoughtful leadership make him exceptionally well-suited to guide the journal forward. Please keep submitting your best papers to TE!
